Full performance KVM enabled BYOD on Cortex-A15 at ARM TechCon 2013.

KVM-on-ARM is the next generation of open source virtualization technology for heterogeneous systems, that transforms Linux kernel into a hypervisor. Taking advantage of hardware virtualization support provided by the ARM multicore processors, KVM-on-ARM is the unique low power, low cost, high performance full SoC virtualization solution, which is also vendor lock-in free. Since virtualization can be the key technology for BYOD Android smartphones, tablets and portable PC, Virtual Open Systems, ARM and FP7 vIrtical partners teamed up to show the amazing demo of BYOD phenomena. The demo has been set up on a commercial available Chromebook, where KVM-on-ARM virtualization enables a secure laptop in which people are able to access corporate resources and personal applications.
